Here are some pictures from a trip to Nepal to climb Chulu Far East, preceded by a trek to the remote villages of Phu and Naar and a crossing of the Kang La, in October/November 2022 with KE Adventure.

Koto to Meta (3560m).

Rest day. Acclimatisation walk above Meta.

Meta to Chyako (3720m).

Chyako to Phu (4200m). Explore Phu.
Mon 31 Oct
Phu to Sartek Monastery (3540m).

Sartek Monastery to Naar (4110m).
Wed 02 Nov
Across the Kang La (5306m) to Ngawal (3660m).
Thu 03 Nov
Rest day. Explore Ngawal and up the steps to Guru Rinpoche cave.
Fri 04 Nov
Ngawal to camp at Yak Kharka (4000m).
Sat 05 Nov
Yak Kharka to Chulu Far East base camp (4835m).
Sun 06 Nov
Base camp to high camp (5334m).
Mon 07 Nov
Climb Chulu Far East (6059m). Stopped at 6035m due to dodgy cornice. Return to base camp.
Tue 08 Nov
Base camp to Manang (3520m), with lunch at Yak Kharka.
Wed 09 Nov
Manang to Lower Pisang (3200m), stopping at the Bhrakaa Monastery, and with lunch in Ngawal.
Thu 10 Nov
Lower Pisang to Koto, with lunch in Chame.
Fri 11 Nov
Koto to Dharapani. Jeep to Besisahar.
Sat 12 Nov
Bus to Kathmandu.
